I’m running for city council to bring a new, fresh voice to our city and shape the future of our community for my son and all our families.

A vibrant community is a place people want to call home forever. We need a city that provides essential services to all members of our community and provides opportunities and jobs for young families that will invest in their homes and stay here for generations to come.

Westland is a special place to live, work, and raise a family. It’s so special that my husband and I had the chance to “come home” to Westland and have our son be the fifth generation of my family to call our house, home.

I have the experience, problem-solving skills, and vision to give our city a bright future. As a volunteer in our community, I’ve brought people together to find solutions and get things done. On city council, I will be an advocate for our entire city, demanding transparency and results.

Public safety must be our top priority. I’ll use my experience as the wife of a professional firefighter to strengthen relationships with our first responders and ensure they have the resources necessary to prevent crime, protect our homes and provide life saving emergency care.

And I’ll be a trustworthy steward of public funds, improving programs while respecting budget limitations. I’ll protect infrastructure investments by planning ahead for future maintenance of our streets and sewers, preventing costly early replacement and saving taxpayer dollars.

As a college graduate, former business owner and a real estate professional, I understand what it takes to create jobs, grow our economy, and move families to our city. I’ll bring ideas for creative economic development, lead efforts to continue improving our infrastructure and attract investments to make our Shop and Dine District an even greater destination.

We can make Westland even better.

I would be honored to earn your vote.
